    9 days Morocco tour from Casablanca

    Day 1:Arrival in Casablanca

    Upon arrival at Mohammed V International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore Casablanca, Morocco’s economic hub. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world, with its breathtaking oceanfront setting. Stroll along the Corniche Ain Diab, a beautiful coastal promenade. If time permits, visit Rick’s Café, inspired by the famous movie Casablanca. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before an overnight stay in Casablanca.

    Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes

    After breakfast, drive to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, to explore the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, offering stunning ocean views. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where you will visit Bab Mansour, Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the Royal Stables. A short drive takes you to Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman ruins and a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the evening, arrive in Fes, check into your riad, and relax.

    Day 3: Fes City Tour

    Today, a guided tour of Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco, awaits. Begin at the Medina of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO site and the world’s largest car-free urban area. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest in the world, the Chouara Tanneries, and the Bou Inania Madrasa. Wander through the souks, filled with artisans crafting leather, pottery, and textiles. Visit the Nejjarine Museum before heading to the scenic viewpoint at Borj Nord for sunset. Overnight in Fes.

    Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

    Depart Fes and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” for its European-style architecture. Continue through Azrou, where you may see Barbary macaques in the cedar forests. Drive through Midelt, a town nestled between mountains, before descending into the Ziz Valley, with its stunning palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the evening, take a camel trek into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes to watch the sunset and spend the night in a luxury desert camp, enjoying traditional Berber music under the stars.

    Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

    Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes before returning by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga. After breakfast, head towards Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, and visit its traditional market. Travel through the Tinghir Oasis to the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering 300m cliffs create a breathtaking canyon. After exploring the gorge, continue to the Dades Valley, passing through the scenic Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Check into your hotel and enjoy dinner in the valley.

    Day 6: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and visit the Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah.     Day 7: Full-Day Marrakech Guided Tour

Wander through the lively Medina, stopping at the souks to discover Moroccan handicrafts.     After breakfast, drive back to Casablanca (about 3 hours). Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to visit Morocco Mall, the country’s largest shopping center, or take a final walk along the Corniche. Transfer to Mohammed V Airport for your departure, marking the end of an unforgettable journey through Morocco.
