Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, your guide will be there to greet you and take you to your riad in the heart of the old medina. Depending on your arrival time, you can start exploring the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where snake charmers, musicians, and food stalls bring the city to life. Take in the sights and sounds of the souks, visit the stunning Koutoubia Mosque, or just relax and prepare for your journey ahead. Overnight in Marrakech.
After breakfast, hit the road and cross the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m), which offers breathtaking views. Your first major stop is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah famous for its appearances in movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Wander through its ancient streets and soak in the atmosphere.
Continue to Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa” due to its famous film studios. After a quick visit, drive through the Valley of Roses, known for its fragrant rose fields, before reaching the Dades Valley, where stunning rock formations and winding gorges await.
