Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Fes through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Stop in Azrou’s Cedar Forest to see wild Barbary macaques before continuing through Midelt and the picturesque Ziz Valley with its lush palm groves.
By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll ride a camel into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, enjoying a spectacular desert sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, enjoying Berber music, stargazing, and a traditional Moroccan dinner by the campfire.

Wake up early to witness an unforgettable sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast at the camp. Travel to Khamlia, a village known for its Gnawa music, before visiting nomadic Berber families to learn about their traditional way of life.
Stop in Rissani, home to one of the oldest traditional markets in Morocco, and Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops. Continue to the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where you can walk between its towering red rock walls.
