    Itinerary

    Day 1: Agadir - Taroudant - Ait Ben Haddou

    Your adventure begins in Agadir, where you’ll meet your guide and start the journey towards Taroudant, often referred to as “Little Marrakech” for its red city walls and bustling souks. After a short stop to explore, continue through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages and rugged terrain. Arrive in Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its ancient kasbahs and its role in movies such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Spend the night in Ait Ben Haddou, immersing yourself in the historical charm of this fortified village.

    Day 2: Ait Ben Haddou - Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga

    After breakfast, continue your journey from Ait Ben Haddou to Dades Valley, known for its striking landscapes and impressive kasbahs. Take time to explore the valley’s natural beauty before heading to the Todra Gorges, where towering canyon walls create an awe-inspiring landscape. Afterward, travel to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel trek into the dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional desert camp under the stars, enjoying traditional Berber music and a delicious Moroccan dinner.

    Day 3: Merzouga

    Wake up early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the vast sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. Spend the day exploring the desert landscape on camelback or by 4×4, and visit the nearby village of Khamlia, known for its Gnawa music and desert culture. Experience the beauty of the dunes, and enjoy a traditional lunch with the Berber nomads. In the afternoon, return to your desert camp for another unforgettable night in the Sahara, under a blanket of stars.

    Day 4: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Midelt

    After breakfast, head to Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty and a key stop for merchants traveling to the Sahara. Explore the lively souks before continuing to Erfoud, known for its fossil-rich landscapes. Travel through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and dramatic landscape, before reaching Midelt, located in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Overnight in Midelt, a small town known for its stunning mountain scenery.

    Day 5 Midelt - Cedar Forest - Ifrane - Fes

    After breakfast, head toward the Cedar Forest near Ifrane, often referred to as “Little Switzerland” due to its alpine-like appearance. You may spot wild monkeys as you drive through the forest. Continue to Ifrane, a charming town known for its European-style architecture and well-manicured gardens. From there, continue to Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital. Spend the evening exploring the city at your leisure, perhaps wandering through the old medina or relaxing in a local café.

    Day 6: Fes

    Enjoy a full day exploring Fes, starting with a visit to the Bou Inania Madrasa, a stunning 14th-century school with intricate carvings and tilework. Visit the Al-Qarawiyyin University, the world’s oldest continuously operating educational institution. Explore the tanneries, where traditional leather is made using age-old techniques, and wander through the bustling souks of the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take time to absorb the rich cultural and historical atmosphere of this fascinating city.

    Day 7: Fes - Meknes - Volubilis

    After breakfast, depart for Meknes, an imperial city famous for its grand Bab Mansour gate and historical medina. Explore the city’s rich history, including the Royal Stables and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Continue to Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Roman ruins, including stunning mosaics and well-preserved columns. After a guided tour, return to Fes for an overnight stay.

    Day 8: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt

    Today, depart from Fes and drive through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at Azrou, a Berber town known for its cedar forests, and take a walk through the trees to spot Barbary apes. Continue to Midelt, passing through beautiful mountain landscapes, and spend the night in this tranquil town.

    Day 9: Midelt - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate

    Travel through the scenic Draa Valley, with its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Stop to explore some of the historic kasbahs along the way before arriving in Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Visit the Atlas Film Studios, where famous movies like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed. Explore the Taourirt Kasbah, an ancient fortress offering incredible views of the surrounding area. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

    Day 10: Ouarzazate - Agadir

    On your final day, travel back to Agadir,  where your tour concludes. Enjoy some free time to relax and reflect on your incredible Moroccan adventure before being transferred to the airport for your departure.
